About us
The Thompson brand was founded in 2018 as a learning centre. Today Thompson is a large educational ecosystem that brings together 7 schools, 6 kindergartens and 10 learning centres.
Thompson International School is at the centre of the group, with branches in Tashkent, Navoiy and Namangan. Children join us from the preparatory class (Grade 0), and we prepare them for study at universities abroad.

Cambridge English
We were one of the first Cambridge partners in Uzbekistan. English is taught by level, not by grade, and our teachers hold CELTA and DELTA certificates.
Qualified teachers
Every teacher goes through six stages of selection. As well as checking experience and skills, we run a psychological assessment.
Preparation for top universities
From Grade 7 we guide students through the whole admissions process: academic preparation, the portfolio, choosing a university and applying.
IT and robotics
Students use 3D printers, VR headsets and robots, including humanoid robots, in their everyday lessons.

Thompson App: your child’s school day on your phone
Thompson App was one of the first apps of its kind among private schools in Uzbekistan. Parents, students and teachers all use it, so you can follow your child’s school day as it happens.
- Learning. Grades, homework, the timetable and attendance as they happen, and teachers’ comments on the same day.
- Safety. The app records when your child arrives and leaves, and the school is covered by CCTV.
- Daily essentials. The canteen menu, uniform and transport, in one place.
- Direct contact with teachers. Message teachers directly and get school news and announcements first.
